Just BEE-cause - C4G #225

Hi!  Glad you stopped by!  It's time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  May 20 is World Bee Day, so that is our theme for this challenge.  Here's my bee-utiful card... ;) 

My paper is Crate Paper Bloom.  My images are There She Goes Bee Happy.  The honeycomb and tiny bee die cuts are Sizzix Impresslits Sweet Friend.  This set also has words and an EF which I used on the pink panel.  It embosses and cuts the hexagons.

hello - TMS #756

 Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  For this challenge, we are collaborating with Double Trouble's Twisted Sister Challenge.  They are adding our sketch to their options.  I also played along with Thing #1: in honor of "lost sock memorial day," find unused and unmatched items for our cards.  **Be sure to go there and enter your card, too.  

My image is from Beccy's Place.  My sentiment is Bo Bunny.  I often use my scrap box for cards, but tend to grab what I can see.  For this card, I dug through and found 4 pieces that I cannot tell you what pad they are from, but I can tell you that they are all from different paper pads.  Definitely, unused and unmatched like "lost socks"!

Happy Mother's Day Mum - C4G #224

Happy Thursday!  It's time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  Our theme is "Celebration" which can mean many things... Mother's Day, baby, graduation, wedding... we want to see what you are celebrating!  I made a Mother's Day card as that is coming soon here in the US and Canada, and I needed to make one for my mother...    

My flowers are Altenew Sweet Spring layered stencil.  I used Catherine Pooler Samba and Coral Cabana inks. The script sentiment is Raisin Boat Marvelous Mom, and the die cut word is Simon Says Stamp Mum.  I added a few Nuvo Crystal Drops in Caramel Cream.  (I was impatient and when I added my panel to my card base, a couple of them flattened, but I guess that's ok because they surely will be squished in the mail.)

Christmas presents - SCC #160

 A new month and a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenge!  This month's theme is "ribbon or twine.'  I used to use ribbon on ALL of my cards but haven't done that as much recently.  I used ribbon as an accent, but on this card, it is part of the focal elements...

A piece of the Paper Studio Pine St. Square.  Presents (rectangles) cut from Kraft cardstock.  Ribbon from the Paper Studio.  My sentiment was a die that was an extra gift with an order long ago from who knows where. Simple, but cute.

hello - TMS #755

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!   Here is my over-textured card... LOL

I embossed a white panel with Sizzix Branches with Leaves EF.  I inked the edges slightly.  I cut a scrap and a white piece with CottageCutz Double Stitched Ovals and embossed the white with Darice Dot BG.  (Have I mentioned that I love dry embossing??!?)  The flowers are Sizzix TH Small Tattered Flowers, and I colored an adhesive dot for the center.  Then I added Die-versions Curly Word Hello.  (Sorry for the dull pic. White is so hard to photograph well!)

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  Here is my card...

My paper was a scrap.  The sentiment is from My Time Made Easy "Be Supportive."  I cut it with CottageCutz Stitched Rectangles.  I then cut it apart so I could add the "praying" sentiment  across it without covering any.  The "praying" is a digital sentiment of which I have many printed.  I inked it after cutting it out with Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fishtail Banners.

 Hello!  Here we are with another challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  Our fun theme for this challenge is "Movie Madness."  I've got a bridal shower card featuring Belle from Disney's "Beauty and the Beast."  The recipient loooooves "Beauty and the Beast"! 

Belle is Disney Belle Enchanted die.  My sentiment is Raisin Boat All the Write Words.  I think my paper is Prima Romance Novel. (?)  The flowers and ribbon are from my stash.

 Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!  

My daughter got married last month, but they got married in his home town, so we planned her wedding from afar.  Since it was out of town, we had a reception where we live this past weekend, so life's been busy!  All that to say that my card is pretty simple and was quick and easy to put together...

I dry embossed a panel with Darice Dots Background EF.  The black dotted paper was a scrap.  The tag was in my stash.  The sentiment is Papertrey Ink.  And the ribbon was from my stash.  Simple and easy.

I'm hoping life will settle down a bit and I can spend some more time in my craft room!

I dry embossed a panel with Darice Crackle.  My flower is Altenew Cartoon Rose.  I found a couple of scrap papers that matched and cut out the banners with Kat Scrapiness Stitched Fishtail Banners.  The sentiment was in my box of extras.

 Happy Thursday!  It's time for our new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz!  Our theme is "cute animals." Here are my cuties...

My image is a digi from Spyder's Corner.  It's framed with Papertrey Ink Instant Photo #1.  My sentiment is Sweet n Sassy Stamps Script Sentiments.  My DP is Pebbles Jen Hadfield Warm & Cozy.  I fussy cut a couple of the flowers from the paper and added them to the corner of the frame.
