He loves me...

Valentine's Day is over, but I've got a sort of a lovey-dovey card for you.  Birdbrain is trying to figure out if "he loves me..." or "he loves me..." :)  I do like Valentine's Day, but I am so thankful for a sweet husband that tells me and shows me EVERY day of the year that he loves me!

I took my Spellbinders and cut out of the DP so that my image and sentiment would show through rather than layering them on top.  I popped it up for a bit of dimension.

My image is "Loves Me Birdbrain" which is the February free digi from From the Heart StampsThis image is required for FTHS February Digital Stamp of the Month Challenge.   I'm also submitting this to Sister Act #94 [anything goes] and Through The Craft Room Door Feb 17-23

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!!

My DP is Prima "Romance Novel" 6x6 pad.  The background panel is embossed with CB Teresa Collins "Timeless."  The gem flourish is K&Co.  The hearts were cut with MTC and stacked.  For the frame around the main panel, I used 2 Spellbinders Standard Circles at the same time.  The sentiment is also cut using Spellbinders Standard Circles and inked with TH "walnut stain" distress ink.  I love this sentiment!!  It is from Love Sentiments Digital Stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps

Triple time Christmas

Awhile back, I made a card and entered a challenge and used a new-to-me technique called "triple time stamping."  (Click HERE to see my card and HERE to see a tutorial) I love it and planned to do more, but....  Do you do that too?  Plan to use a technique or product and then forget or just don't have the time to "play"?   I did finally make the time to try this again and found a few challenges to inspire me, too.

A handsome prince?? - TMS #287

Happy Tuesday to you!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

Somewhere I have a picture of one of my daughters literally kissing a frog!  Sadly, it did NOT turn into a handsome prince.  :(    Somehow, I don't think this frog will ever become a handsome prince, either!   (Though if he should just happen to do that, I hope he can afford a fashion adviser!!!)

My DP is fancy pants "Love" and it was perfect for the sketch... I did not need to add my own sentiment.  My image is Flirty Frog by Pookie Designs at Stitchy Bear Digital Outlet.  Stitchy Bear is our sponsor for this week's challenge...

Sweet birthday wishes!

Gumball machines.  They are fascinating, aren't they?  I always hoped to get the red gumball!  My kids loved to get gum or candy from the machines as you exit the grocery store.  We actually had a home version for awhile.  Needless to say, it was almost always empty!!

All of that chatter about gumballs because I've got a gumball card to show you...

My image and sentiment are from "Old Fashioned Candy" -one of the new releases from Doodle Pantry.  February's "Ants In My Pants Challenge" has "candy" as the theme, so go check that out, too!

The DP is DCWV "the Birthday Wishes" 6x6 stack.  The image is cut using Spellbinders Petite Ovals and Labels 18.  My card is a simple Z-fold card with a cut hidden on the inside for greetings...

Challenges...
Crafting From the Heart #46 - anything goes

Kitty hugs & kisses

Happy Friday to you!  I've got a cute little kitty to show you tonight.  I actually have 3 cute kitties here at my house that I could show you, but they don't sit still long enough for many pictures.  One of them is losing his cuteness quickly in my mind... he's been marking his territory!  (And, yes, he is neutered!) Needless to say, he's been confined to a certain area until we can figure out what to do and how to stop him.  :/

My image is  "Kitten Heart" from Sami Stamps colored with my Spectrum Noir markers.  The DP is Prima "Romance Novel."  The border is Fiskars.  The sentiment is Doodle Pantry.    The image is cut using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A and the sentiment is cut using Spellbinders Standard Circles Sm and Lg.   The button brads are from The Paper Studio.

I used the current Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch.  Just a reminder that you have until Sunday at 8PM to come and play along!!

Challenges...
Chocolate, Coffee & Cards #84 - Love in is the air
Clear It Out - theme: anything goes + stash: anything goes (my brads are old!!)
Dies R Us #19 - hearts (used Spellbinders Nesties listed above)

Thank you blossom - TMS #286

Happy Tuesday to you!!  It's time for Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

I actually have 2 cards to show you today and they both have a flower on them.  That makes me laugh because we just got over a foot of snow!  I'm not complaining because I love snow!!  I know my parents are ready to ship me some because they already had snow, got 2 more feet last week, plus they got more yesterday!  I can hear many of you grumbling and you are telling me that I can have yours, too, right?  I'll take it! :)

Enough about the snow, back to my spring blossom cards...

My DP is Prima "Romance Novel."  The lace border is a bit from my stash.  The sentiment is My Pink Stamper "Seimply Sweet Occasions" stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and cut out with Spellbinders Standard Circles Lg and Sm.  The adhesive pearls are from Michaels.  The image is "Butterfly Flower" from Sami Stamps.... our sponsor for the week.

My DP is pinkpaislee "London Market" embossed with CB Teresa Collins "Timeless."  The border piece is from a MS punch and embossed with CB Swiss Dots.  The "thank you" is from My Pink Stamper "Simply Sweet Occasions" clear stamp set.  Stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and cut out with Spellbinders Standard Circles Lg and Sm.  The image is "Spring Blossom" from Sami Stamps... as I mentioned, our sponsor for this week...

**play along for a chance to win a $12 voucher to Sami Stamps**

Our sketch is Melissa's favorite from last year...  It's a great one!  I turned and mirrored it for my cards as you have seen.

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to go check out the creations from the rest of our DT...
